One of the most significant breakthroughs in lung cancer treatment has been the ability to administer an effective radiation dose in as few as five treatments. This short-course, high-dose treatment, often referred to as SBRT, has gained traction for its ability to target cancer cells while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues.
