Dr. Adam Holtzman Appointed Deputy Operations Editor of the International Journal of Particle Therapy

Adam L. Holtzman, MD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Jacksonville, was appointed Deputy Operations Editor of the International Journal of Particle Therapy (IJPT) on March 1, 2022. The journal’s mission, as stated on its website, is “to provide a preferred venue for disseminating the most up-to-date information on the clinical, physical, and biological research in proton, light-ion, and heavy charged-particle therapy. Since its founding, IJPT has published articles by nearly 300 prominent radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists from 200 institutions around the world.”

In his new role, Dr. Holtzman will lead IJPT’s editorial team and will work in collaboration with Editor-in-Chief, Nancy P. Mendenhall, MD, FACR, FASTRO, on journal direction and production. Dr. Holtzman will transition to Operations Editor on September 2.
