Randal Henderson, MD, MBA

Dr. Henderson is a professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida specializing in the management of prostate cancer, gynecologic malignancies and lung cancer.  He is the associate medical director of the University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute (UFHPTI). 

Dr. Henderson received his undergraduate degree at Abilene Christian University and medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.  He completed his residency training at the University of Florida and an MBA at Georgia State University.  He is board certified in Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Henderson has been a member of the board of directors for the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology since 2000, and is a past president of that organization.  Dr. Henderson is the principal investigator on 5 prospective proton clinical trials for the treatment of prostate cancer at UFHPTI.  His work has appeared in a number of scholastic publications.
